Dash Visits Rotary Club

On Tuesday, 19 May, Dash and his foster Dad, Paul, spoke to the Rotary Club of Elba, Alabama about Greyhound adoption. Paul first talked about the history of greyhounds and how the sport of greyhound racing has evolved over the years. Then, as Dash strutted his stuff around the room, Paul explained how Dash's physique contributes to him being an elite athlete. After the Rotarians OOOed and AHHed over Dash's beauty and grace, Paul shared information about Greyhound adoption and SEGA's many fundraisers. While Paul fielded questions about Greyhounds, the Rotarians loved on and petted Dash. Dash was in heaven! So were the Rotarians. Bunny Spotting

This past Friday evening Dash and the rest of our dogs enjoyed a spring-time walk around our neighborhood. As you can see by his expressive ears, Dash spotted a fluffy bunny along our route. Even though he was eager to play a game of chase, Dash stood like a statue while we watched the bunny hop off into the woods.

While Theodora and Blackie play tug-of-war with a stick, Dash relaxes in the afternoon sun.

Dash Loves Stuffies

On a recent trip to Mobile, Dash's foster grandmother gave him a brand new, hand-made, squeakie toy. Dash was very excited!!! He even had so much fun tossing his toy in the air, he completely forgot one of our Greyhound House Rules: No dogs on the furniture. After I snapped a few quick photos, Dash hopped off the sofa and continued playing. What a beautiful, fun-loving dog!

Big Compliments for SEGA's Featured Hound

Dash will make a great forever friend. He is a very easy dog to love! He is happy to see you when you return home, he loves soft fluffy toys, and snoozing on a plush dog bed. Dash loves to rest his head in your lap for attention (even when you need privacy in the bathroom). He is absolutely beautiful. If there was a greyhound fashion catalogue, he would take the cover every month and make all other models extremely jealous when he took over the Tyra Banks show.
